The Court Improvement Program (CIP) is accepting applications for the 2023-2024 period for Community Improvement Councils’ (CIC) Timely Permanency and Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) backlog efforts. Please read the application instructions carefully due to changes in the application process and subgrant recipient agreement from last year’s funding opportunity. Please keep in mind that these awards are not a permanent funding source and may not be available the next federal fiscal year.

As an integral requirement of this application, it is required that CICs collaborate and come to a consensus on how the designated funds could be optimally utilized to advance the objective of improving timely permanency within your jurisdiction.

All applications must be submitted by October 06, 2023, at 5:00 pm PST. Please send your application to Yesenia Pacheco, MBA, AOC Contracts and Grant Officer, at grants@nvcourts.nv.gov.

Should you have any further questions or need clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out to Zaide Martinez, MJM, SJS, AOC Court Improvement Program Coordinator, at zmartinez@nvcourts.nv.gov.

We look forward to receiving your application.
