Overview
The Nevada Supreme Court convened the Commission to Study Best Practices for Virtual Advocacy in Nevada's Courts in August of 2021. Under the chairmanship of Justice Douglas Herndon, Justice Patricia Lee, and Justice Ron Parraguirre, the Commission is evaluating applicable rules to govern the statewide use of remote technology in Nevada's general and limited jurisdiction courts and will consider applicable rule changes as necessary. Commission membership is comprised of experienced legal professionals and members of the Nevada judiciary from across the state.
