Judge DeLong

Judge Robert DeLong was elected to the bench in 2024, where he serves his hometown, the City of Sparks. He graduated from Reed High School in 1997 and St. Mary’s College of California in 2001. He obtained his law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2006 and clerked for Justice James Hardesty of the Nevada Supreme Court the following year. Before working as a Deputy District Attorney in Washoe County for over 5 years, he was a partner in a regional law firm where he practiced commercial litigation for 11 years. Judge DeLong has practiced in almost every level of Court within the State, including the Federal Courts and the Nevada Supreme Court, and brings this varied and unique experience to the bench.
