Continuous Learning Program

Continuous Learning Program

The Continuous Learning Program (CLP) is designed to support Nevada’s court staff in developing knowledge, skills, and abilities to excel in their roles. Participation in the CLP is flexible: courses are open to all roles and individuals may choose topics that align with their responsibilities, professional goals, or personal interests.

Program Goals

  • Enhance professional competencies across various domains, including legal knowledge, procedural expertise, communication skills, and technological proficiency.
  • Cultivate a culture of adaptability to enable court staff to effectively navigate evolving laws, systems, and challenges.
  • Empower personal growth, resilience, and well-being through holistic development.
  • Provide training opportunities across the 3 C’s: Core Competencies, Court Skills, and Court Values & Culture

Learning Opportunities

Courses are developed in partnership with subject matter experts and Nevada court leadership. Training is offered through a mix of online and in-person sessions. Current and future topics include court operations, customer service, diversity and inclusion, leadership, technology, and more.

CLP courses are hosted on the Distance Education Learning Portal (DELP). If you already have a DELP account, you can log in and have instant access to all CLP courses as they are posted.
