Jacqueline Harris
Jacqueline (Jackie) Harris is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy in the State of Nevada. She is the current Behavioral Health Program Coordinator for the Resiliency & Justice Center, in charge of the behavioral health preparation, response, and recovery & resiliency for those impacted by violent crime, mass violence, and trauma in our state.
Ms. Harris has over 40 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in the areas of trauma. She is trained in evidenced based practices, such as Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Ms. Harris has focused on assisting the helpers in the trauma field through the CE-CERT model developed by Dr. Brian C. Miller in reducing secondary trauma and burnout. She serves on several county and regional committees focusing on behavioral health issues for our community.
