Overview of the Commission to Study the Administration of Guardianships in Nevada's Courts

The Commission to Study the Administration of Guardianships in Nevada's Courts was established to review the processes for creating guardianships and conservatorships, stakeholder accountability, court documentation and tracking, judicial training, and any resources available or needed to assist Nevada's courts in administering guardianships.

All Nevada guardianships are administered by Nevada's courts pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 159, which was reviewed by the Commission along with court rules, policies, and procedures.

The final report was filed with the Supreme Court on September 30, 2016 and can be accessed here.
