Interviews for applicants applying for Dept. L of the Eighth Judicial District Court have been scheduled for October 22-23, 2018 at the Nevada Supreme Court Courtroom in Las Vegas.
The Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on October 22 with the first public comment period shortly thereafter. The first interview is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and interviews are scheduled for 30 minutes. Time has been set aside between interviews for preparing for the next candidate interview.
During public comment periods, the Commission will video conference to the Supreme Court courtroom in Las Vegas at the Regional Justice Center. The public can observe the interviews in person or online at https://nvcourts.gov/supreme.
The final public comment period is at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23. Comments may be made at either the Carson City or Las Vegas courtroom. Letters from the public are also accepted and considered by the Commission provided they are signed.
