Nevada Courts Data Warehouse

The Nevada Courts Data Warehouse is a paradigm shift from aggregate monthly USJR reporting published once a year to a much more frequent reporting timeframe of record-based information.

The new model allows for the development of individualized data dashboards for court-specific information and more granular court performance metrics for public and external use.

The Statewide Data Warehouse serves as a centralized system to support the statutory duties outlined in NRS 1.360. Under the direction of the Supreme Court, this repository is designed to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of the Nevada Judiciary by facilitating comprehensive data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Primary objectives include:

  • Standardizing and streamlining the collection and compilation of court statistics and operational data across all courts in Nevada.
  • Providing accurate and timely data to the Supreme Court and Court Administrator to inform decision-making and improve judicial administration.
  • Identifying trends, inefficiencies, and areas for procedural enhancements to promote fair, efficient, and accessible justice.
  • Supporting the implementation of evidence-based improvements within the State Court System through data-driven insights and recommendations.
