The Nevada Supreme Court in Carson City will be closed today, February 17, 2026, due to inclement weather and worsening travel conditions in Carson City, Washoe County, and Douglas County. Pursuant to a court order, any document due for filing with the appellate courts on February 17, 2026, will be deemed timely filed if it is submitted on or before February 18, 2026.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Elko County Courthouse was completed in 1911 at a cost of $150,000. Designed in a Neoclassical style, an image of Lady Justice's face graces the space above the entrance.
