The Supreme Court of Nevada in Carson City will be closed today, February 18, 2026, due to inclement weather in Carson City, Washoe County, and Douglas County. Any document due for filing with the appellate courts on February 17 or 18, 2026, will be deemed timely filed if it is submitted for filing on or before February 19, 2026. See NRAP 25(1).
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Elko County Courthouse was completed in 1911 at a cost of $150,000. Designed in a Neoclassical style, an image of Lady Justice's face graces the space above the entrance.
