Governor Lombardo Announces Retirement of Judge James E. Wilson, Jr., Vacant Seat on First Judicial District Court
Today, Governor Joe Lombardo announced the vacancy for the First Judicial District Court of Nevada, District 2, following the resignation of Judge James E. Wilson, Jr.
In a letter addressed to Governor Lombardo, Judge James E. Wilson, Jr. announced his retirement from the First Judicial District Court, effective January 8, 2024.
To fill the vacant seat, the Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection will provide Governor Lombardo with three candidates for his consideration and selection. Interested applicants can receive an application by emailing Margarita Bautista with the Administrative Office of the Courts directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
