This is an appeal from a district court order denying a motion to vacate a default judgment in a civil forfeiture matter. Respondent filed a civil forfeiture complaint but did not serve appellant or otherwise provide notice to appellant of the proceeding. Respondent applied for a default, and the district court later entered a default judgment. Appellant filed a pro se motion to set aside the default judgment that the district court sua sponte denied for lack of standing before respondent filed an opposition.
ISSUES:
On appeal, appellant argues that the district court erred when it concluded she lacked standing to challenge the civil forfeiture proceedings and that Nevada’s civil forfeiture statutory scheme is unconstitutional.

Owners of beach adjacent property appeal from an order granting summary judgment and an order awarding attorney fees.
ISSUES:
On appeal, the property owners contend that the district court erred when it (1) found that prior litigation precluded their claim to quiet title; (2) determined there was no dispute of material fact as to their property line; and (3) awarded attorney fees to the respondents.
