Babb vs. State
Docket No. 88598
Las Vegas – 11:00 a.m. – Panel A
Appellant Richard Babb was convicted of ten counts related to sexual offenses and other crimes against four juvenile victims. He was sentenced to life with parole eligibility after a minimum of 35 years. Babb now appeals his conviction, claiming violation of his right to be free from unreasonable searches, improper authentication and admission of evidence at trial, improper consolidation of his cases under NRS 174.155, violation of his right to a public trial, and that the district court abused its discretion in denying his motion to substitute counsel because the attorney-client relationship was completely broken.
