Speaker Biography Jennifer M. Richards, Esq.
Jennifer Richards is a lifelong Nevadan and a first-generation graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno and Gonzaga University School of Law. Currently, she is a Directing Attorney at Northern Nevada Legal Aid and has worked at legal aid both in the adult guardianship unit and Senior Law programs. Previously, Jennifer Richards held the gubernatorial office of the Chief Rights Attorney for the State of Nevada. She has authored legislation to require all Nevada courthouses to contain lactation rooms available to the public, worked on legislation to increase resident rights in group homes and assisted living facilities, and authored legislation creating Nevada's Elder Abuse Fatality Review Teams.
