Judge Brandy Holbrook
Judge Brandy Holbrook was elected to Carlin Justice and Municipal Court in 2024, taking the bench on January 6, 2025. Judge Holbrook was the 3rd generation of her family to graduate from Carlin High School. Judge Holbrook has raised her 3 children in Carlin and currently has the 5th generation of her family attending Carlin Schools. She decided to obtain her bachelor’s in social work and attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas graduating in 2002. While attending college, she had the opportunity to do her social work internship in Pahrump, this is where she found her passion to utilize her degree in child protection services and would work for 20 plus years in child protective services. During that time, she held many positions, including front line social worker, quality assurance supervisor, and ending as the District Rural Manager. Her time with child protection She had the opportunity to work with children, families, courts, court stakeholders, and community leaders throughout all 15 rural counties.
Judge Holbrook has taken many opportunities to seek ways to network and bring people together for the purpose of making the world a better place to live.
