Dear Fellow Judges,

On behalf of the Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction, I welcome you to the 2025 Limited Jurisdiction Judges Summer Seminar from June 24 – June 27, 2025.

The NJLJ Executive Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24th. The Education committee will meet at 10:00 a.m. The Legislative committee will meet at 11:00 a.m. If you are interested in participating with either committee, you are invited. Please check the schedule for meeting room information.

Seminar classes start at 1:00 p.m. on June 24th. Training topics include: recent Nevada Supreme Court decisions; a review of the 2025 Nevada legislative session; civil traffic citations; social media, ethics, and the courts; small claims cases; judicial wellness; and more.

Our host judge, Laurie Trotter, will discuss a number of social opportunities with attendees on the first day of the conference.

The semi-annual NJLJ Business Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 26th, at 11:30 a.m. This meeting is for the general membership to discuss the organization's business. Members who are unable to attend the business meeting in person may do so by Zoom. The link will be emailed out to judges in the coming weeks by Judge Dorothy Rowley, the NJLJ Secretary.
