Speaker Biography The Honorable Jessica Goodey

Judge Jessica Goodey was elected to the Las Vegas Justice Court in November of 2022 and took the bench in January 2023. Elected for a six-year term, she currently presides over a civil calendar.  Judge Goodey was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2010, where she practiced primarily civil litigation.  In addition to running her busy law practice, Judge Goodey served on the State Bar of Nevada's Board of Governors from 2018-2020, as well as an Alternate Judge for the Las Vegas Municipal Court from 2019 until taking the bench in 2023. During her years as an attorney, Judge Goodey was recognized by her peers as a "Super Lawyers Rising Star," "Legal Elite" in Nevada Business Magazine, and the AV-Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, representing the highest level of professional excellence.
