Speaker Biography The Honorable Douglas Hedger
Judge Douglas Hedger (Ret.) served on the Henderson Municipal Court bench for eighteen years, starting in 2003. He attended Brigham Young University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in political science. He then graduated from Arizona State University College of Law and was admitted to practice law in Nevada in 1990. He is admitted to the Nevada State Bar and the Federal Bar. He practiced as a criminal defense trial attorney for more than twelve years before being elected as a judge. He is also a member of many professional organizations including the Clark County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.
Judge Hedger is with Clear Counsel Law Group. As a partner in the firm, Judge Hedger mentors new attorneys, using his experience to help them learn and develop their skills.
