Speaker Biography Marshal Willick
Mr. Marshal S. Willick, Esq. has been practicing law for 40 years and is the Principal of the Willick Law Group, an A/V-rated Las Vegas family law firm, and QDROMasters, its pension order drafting division. He is a Certified Family Law Specialist, a Fellow of both the American and International Academies of Matrimonial Lawyers, a former Chair of the Nevada Bar Family Law Section, and former President of the Nevada chapter of the AAML. He has authored many books and articles on Family Law and retirement benefits issues and was the managing editor of the Nevada Family Law Practice Manual.
Mr. Willick has chaired several committees of the American Bar Association Family Law Section, AAML, and Nevada Bar, has served on many more committees, boards, and commissions of those organizations, and has been called on to sometimes represent the entire ABA in Congressional hearings on military pension matters. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. In addition to litigating trial and appellate cases in Nevada, Mr. Willick has participated in the drafting of various state and federal statutes in the areas of pensions, divorce, and property division. He is a frequent teacher of continuing legal education classes and is often sought as a lecturer on family law issues.
