Dr. Merritt W. Dunlap, MD, FAAFP, has been in private practice in Carson City since 1999 and is a Professor of Community Health Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. With a diverse background, he completed his residency training at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton from 1993 to 1996, followed by a tenure as Senior Medical Officer at NAS Fallon until 1999, then transitioning to private practice. Dr. Dunlap's contributions to the medical field extend beyond clinical practice; he has authored over 30 articles and news interviews on COVID-19 during the pandemic and delivered numerous presentations. Additionally, he has dedicated the past two years to community education efforts on Fentanyl, showcasing his commitment to public health and community well-being.
