Judge WellerSenior Judge Chuck Weller served as the District Court Judge in Department 11 of the Family Division of the Second Judicial District Court from 2004 to 2020. Prior to this, for two decades he was an attorney in Reno. For 12 years, he hosted the renowned radio show "Chuck Weller and The Law" on KKOH. Judge Weller also penned a weekly legal advice column for three years in the Reno Gazette Journal, demonstrating his passion for informing and assisting the community.

Judge Weller's academic journey reflects his commitment to excellence and lifelong learning. He obtained a Ph.D. in Judicial Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno, and the National Judicial College in December 2013, following earlier achievement of a master’s degree in Judicial Studies in May 2009. His legal foundation was laid at Georgetown University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1977, after completing his undergraduate studies at St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia in 1974. He has published numerous articles covering diverse legal subjects and delving into the rich history of Nevada. He is the author of a new book, World War II and Nevada: the Silver State’s Contribution to Victory, to be released by the University of Nevada Press on May 28, 2024.
