LaDonna Childress

After graduating Cum Laude from Southwestern Law School, Ms. Childress clerked for Chief Justice Robert E. Rose of the Nevada Supreme Court. Following her clerkship, she entered private practice as an associate attorney for Bennett & Erdman in Los Angeles, California, where she represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil and family law litigation matters. She also had her own private practice, with offices in California and Nevada.

Ms. Childress then returned to her home state of Nevada (Go Wolf Pack!), and rejoined the Nevada Supreme Court as a staff attorney in the state’s capital at Carson City. She now lives at Lake Tahoe. She is currently a supervisory staff attorney in the clerk’s office on the editing and screening team.

In her spare time, Ms. Childress loves to travel the world, work out at the gym, snowboard, and hike in the mountains with her dog Rhythm. She volunteers her time to various political and social causes close to her heart—including serving as president on the board of the South Lake Tahoe Cancer League.
