Assistant Court Administrator, Nevada Supreme Court

John McCormickJohn McCormick is the Assistant Court Administrator for the Administrative Office of the Court, Nevada Supreme Court and has been in that position since 2013.  He started as the AOC's Rural Courts Coordinator in 2006.  Mr. McCormick acts as the legislative liaison for the judicial branch for the last nine Nevada Legislative Sessions (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023). Additionally, he oversees the Judicial Programs and Services Division of the AOC which includes the Judicial Education Unit, Research and Statistics Unit, Court Improvement Program, Certified Court Interpreters Program, and other areas such as rural courts, standardized forms, and Specialty Courts.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2001 from Lewis and Clark College, Portland, OR.  Prior to coming to the AOC, he worked in the non-profit field. He is a second generation native Nevadan (Fallon), and interned for former U.S. Senator Richard Bryan (D-NV) in 1999.
