Judge Bridget Robb was appointed to the Second Judicial District Court, April 2006, by Governor Kenny Guinn. Prior to taking the bench, she served as managing shareholder of the Beesley, Peck & Matteoni law firm from 1999 to 2006. Judge Robb worked at Gordon & Silver, Ltd. and started her legal career with Lionel Sawyer & Collins. Judge Robb was admitted to practice in Nevada in both State and Federal court in 1987, and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She graduated from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1987 summa cum lauda. Her undergraduate degree is from University of Nevada in English.. She has served on various Supreme Court Task Forces and committees which: updated the professional rules of ethics for lawyers; required lawyers who are not licensed in Nevada to comply with Nevada's rules of ethics; and worked to establish a Business Court in Washoe and Clark counties. Judge Robb volunteers providing legal assistance to people with low incomes and victims of domestic violence. She presents an annual family law update to the Nevada District Judges’ conference and the Bar’s Family Law Conference.
