Speaker Biography Anthony Hall
Anthony Hall is a founding partner in Simons Hall Johnston, PC, which firm provides expert advice and representation to employers, individuals, and other stakeholders in all areas of labor and employment law. He provides advice and litigation defense to courts, local governments, and school districts in connection with employment disputes. In 2013, he was one of the lead attorneys representing Sparks municipal court in City of Sparks v. Sparks Municipal Court (2013). Prior to forming Simons Hall Johnston, he was a partner at Holland & Hart LLP and Littler Mendelson in Reno. Mr. Hall has taught all areas of labor and employment law for the University of Nevada-Reno, Lorman Education Services, NBI, and Sterling Education, and is one of the firm’s most sought-after speakers. Mr. Hall has co-authored numerous articles analyzing new developments in labor and employment law including: an article on the potential pitfalls of Nevada’s new minimum wage law (Northern Nevada Business Weekly, February 5, 2007) and the publication “Working Through The Haze: What Legal Mairjuana Means for Nevada Employers” (Holland & Hart News Update, December 14, 2016). He received his J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
