Speaker Biography Emily Kuhlman

Administrative Office of the Courts, Nevada Supreme Court

Ms. Emily Kuhlman is the Nevada Supreme Court’s Human Resources Director, having served the Court for just over two years. Prior to the Judiciary, Emily worked in positions of increasing responsibility in various State of Nevada Executive Branch agencies for eight years, including the Gaming Control Board, Health and Human Services, and the Division of Human Resource Management. She has a people-first approach and always asks “How can we help,” when someone enters HR.

Emily is active within the Carson City community. She and her husband enjoy chasing their children to whatever sport/activity interests them that season. She has managed the Carson City tournament fastpitch (softball) program for over 8 years and has more recently started coaching mountain biking with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. Although her children have surpassed her cycling abilities, being on her bike is still her favorite place to be.
