Speaker Biography Laura Dickson

Forensic Science Unit, Washoe County Sheriff's Office

Ms. Laura Dickson has been employed by the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Science Division and has 13 years of forensics experience.  She has previously worked for the Albuquerque Police Department Crime Laboratory and GenQuest DNA Laboratory.  She has served as a DNA Technical Leader at the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Science Division for the past three years.

Ms. Dickson has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Sonoma State University and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of New Mexico.
