During this course, faculty will discuss what the Nevada Kinship Guardianship Assistance Program (KinGAP) is; including eligibility requirements, logistics assistance, and partner roles in the KinGAP process. Also to be addressed is the understanding of "reasonable efforts," when they are required and examples. Faculty will wrap up the course with what Concurrent Planning is, barriers to Concurrent Planning, the difference between Concurrent Planning and Concurrent Plans, as well as the process and stakeholders involved.
