Construction on a new courthouse for the Nevada Supreme Court and the Nevada Court of Appeals in Las Vegas entered final stages this month in downtown Las Vegas.
Located on the corner of Clark and Fourth Street, the building provides two courtrooms for Nevada’s Appellate Courts – in the state capitol Carson City and in Nevada’s largest city Las Vegas. Currently, the appellate courts lease space in the Regional Justice Center (RJC) from Clark County.
EHB Companies constructed the building and the Nevada Appellate Courts will lease the space.
When open in March, the courthouse will be a LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, Gold Certification building offering savings in energy and water and improved indoor air quality.
