The Nevada Judiciary is pleased to partner with the National Center for State Courts to bring Institute for Court Management (ICM) courses to Nevada. The work of court professionals requires an ability to provide fast answers when challenges arise. The skills learned in these courses will enable court managers to lead with confidence, anticipate needs, and offer the public with improved access to justice.
Education remains the key to providing excellent judicial service. The Nevada Judiciary recognizes the importance of providing state court professionals a chance to receive specialized knowledge about court management. The Certified Court Managers (CCM) courses fulfill a wish to grow local leaders, improve service to our state, and give our customers the very best judicial experience.
Nevada court professionals are encouraged to participate. The innovations developed by Nevada courts will be shared as attendees meet and network during the courses. In addition, Nevada ICM Fellows are the CCM Course trainers allowing for Nevada specific examples to be incorporated in the training where appropriate.
Completion of all the Nevada courses may lead to eventual recognition as a Certified Court Manager. The courses are open to judges, court administrators, and court employees seeking certification in recognized judicial and court operating standards. I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.
