Court Managers Certification Institute Class Planned for Las Vegas in 2019

The National Center for State Court’s Institute for Court Management (ICM) returns to Las Vegas in April 2019 to provide local court professionals specialized knowledge for achieving caseflow success. The course, “Caseflow & Workflow Management 2019” will teach court managers recognized components of caseflow management and workflow management.
Nevada court professionals are encouraged to register early to maximize Nevada attendance and to obtain an Early Bird Discount through Feb. 1, 2019. Details about the class can be found at https://courses.ncsc.org/node/204.
The course will draw upon recent caseflow initiatives to include civil and criminal justice reform. Participants will also begin an action plan where challenges and strategies for caseflow success will be evaluated. Topics will include: court culture, dealing with change, relationships with justice system partners, and caseflow and workflow performance measurement and management.
In addition to providing immediate training, the class will allow the Nevada ICM Fellows to become trainers of these courses so the Nevada Judiciary can continue to be provide ICM course in the future. The courses are open to judges, court administrators, and court employees seeking certification in recognized judicial and court operating standards.
