Overview

 

The Nevada Supreme Court convened the Commission to Study the Statutes and Rules of the Commission on Judicial Discipline and Update the Nevada Code of Judicial Conduct on August 13, 2021. Under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Ron Parraguirre and vice-chairmanship of Associate Chief Justice James W. Hardesty, the Commission will study and make recommendations concerning the procedural and substantive statutes and rules of the Commission on judicial discipline. Additionally, the Commission will compile statistics relating to the work of the Commission on Judicial Discipline for consideration by the Nevada Legislature. Commission membership is comprised of experienced legal professionals and members of the Nevada judiciary from across the state.
